I’m a Florida native, but have spent quite a bit of time up and down the U.S. Eastern seaboard. My partner and I love to travel and enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new cultures.
Whether it’s a month long drive through the Western U.S. States, Holidays in New York or California, a month long drive in a motor home up and down the North and South New Zealand islands, a 21 day safari in Central Africa, a few days in London or Paris, or diving on the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Australia, if we’re not home, were usually doing something that makes us know that we are alive.
I enjoyed a successful career as an Operations Manager with a major U.S. communications company. My main focus was Service Delivery, Contract Fulfillment, Organizational Development, Six Sigma methodology, Team Building, Customer Experience and managing and integrating teams and workloads across multiple offices in Florida, Georgia and Louisiana. Incredible job, fantastic people to work with, and we stay in contact even to this day.
I retired early and moved to our place in South Africa. What an adventure! Such an amazing paradigm shift! And quite a values readjustment as well. We bought 60 acres in a game reserve on the Olifants River, and couldn’t be happier! We have a guest cottage and get quite a lot of International guests. Always great to share this country with first time visitors.
I’ve been doing Man Flow Yoga since Dec 2015, and from a health and mobility perspective, it’s by far the best decision I’ve made. It’s a great workout, a super community of likeminded and helpful members, and best of all, it travels well!
This chapter of my life will be focusing on my personal health, art, creative writing, and uplifting people who are looking to find their full potential. I think one of the best things we can do with this life, is to generate sparks that ignite passion and value in others. Whether it’s a conversation over coffee, or re-writing and updating internal narratives, there’s always an opportunity to uplift those we come into contact with.
Give me a shout if you want to chat, or if you decide to visit South Africa, drop by if your in our neck of the country, or visit www.bushcamp70.com , BushCamp 70 on AirBnB or Bush Camp 70 at Ndlovumzi on Facebook.
Whatever you do, make sure your life is fuller after doing it!
