Beginner’s Yoga for Runners – Day 7

Beginner’s Yoga for Runners Workout – Part 2

Ready for Part 2 of the Beginner’s Yoga for Runners Workout? Let’s do this. Today we’ll finish off strong with working deeper into your mobility and building endurance, and then cool off with a couple of restorative stretches to improve flexibility, speed up your recovery, and get you back to your runs sooner.

Press the play button below to get started. Remember – do your best, pay close attention to the technique, and be okay with yourself if you don’t nail everything the first time. The goal is consistent effort over time – that’s how results happen.

Beginner's Yoga Strength, Balance and Mobility for Runner Performance - part 2

Nice job! You just made it through Part 2 of the Beginner’s Yoga for Runners Workout. Come back to this workout as often as you would like! My recommendation is to this 2-3 times per week. You can do it before a run if you’d like, on days you don’t have running, or even on the same day you go for a run (spaced a few hours apart from your run, of course).

But seriously – pat yourselves on the back! Most people who sign up for this course don’t make it past day 4 or 5, and you’ve made it all the way through Day 6. If you’re used to working out a regular basis and always crushing your runs, this might not be a big deal to you, but celebrating our wins is something we should all do more of – so congrats, and thank you for devoting your time and energy!

And I know today marks day 7, but I’ve got ONE more thing (actually, 3 things) I want to show you. Tomorrow, I’ll be sending you sample workouts from the my Yoga for Runners Programs, so you can try out some other workouts and see if it’s something you’d like to do on a more regular basis. Talk to you then!

Here’s what Edgar has to say:

Edgar Ramos- Ultra-Marathons and Triathlons

I never thought I would follow video workouts but I got hooked after my results and how great the instructional techniques were. I love the fact that I can bring my workout anywhere I go. I travel a lot for work and races so it could not be more convenient. I already considered him an expert in yoga, fitness and anything you can think of an athlete knows when you are still at a competitive level…to my amusement, I learned a ton about nutrition on his website and the e-mails he sends. I am sure he will keep bringing the updates all athletes look for to become stronger and more efficient because he is constantly researching and trying stuff to make you feel good and look your best.
