Learn how to counteract the negative effects of sitting at a desk.

Sitting in a chair is inevitable, but you have the choice to do what is necessary to minimize the damage it does to your body. This workshop focuses on how you can use movement to counteract the hours you spend sitting at a desk in order to preserve your strength and mobility, and keep your body free of daily aches and pains. We’ll cover the exercises and postures you can do on a regular basis throughout the day, including before, during, and after work, in order to keep your body mobile and strong.

This is a workshop appropriate for anyone who spends multiple hours per day in a forced seated position. Even if you have the fitness levels of an Olympian, the hours you spend sitting can wreak havoc on your body. The movements taught here form a solid foundation of extremely effective movements to help you beat the desk.
