My primary reason for joining Man Flow Yoga is that in my 50s, I hit an eight to 10-year rough patch. When I came out of that time, I found I had really backslid on my fitness, and I’d also been aging during that time. And in trying to get back to regular fitness, I found the old ways just weren’t working for me anymore. Man Flow Yoga helped me by bringing me back to a regular fitness practice, something that I could sustain, something I could do consistently.
It’s a practice that’s workable for my body and also something that’s workable for my life. I’m back to doing boxing training once a week, working with the heavy bag. I’m now lifting weights twice a week for my upper body, and these are things that I know that I’ll be able to stay with. Man Flow Yoga has taught me about consistency and sustainability. It’s taught me how to do these things without injuring myself, and it’s taught me what to do if and when I do injure myself, how to work my way back up to keeping with these exercises regularly.
If you want a practice that’s realistic, if you want a practice that’s sustainable, if you want a practice that you can continue to do for your entire life, even as your body changes, then Man Flow Yoga is for you. And come join us and come join our community.
