Man Flow Yoga Vancouver, BC Workshop
If you’ve ever been a guy at a yoga studio, you know that many of the postures don’t work the same way for you as they do for the majority of the participants in the class – the women. About 80% of people that attend yoga classes are women, and guess what? The instructor has to cater to that majority. That’s one reason I started Man Flow Yoga – to help teach guys the poses in a way that works for us and our bodies. I’ll be in Vancouver, BC on Saturday, September 3rd, 2016.
Join me for a male-focused yoga class on Saturday, September 3rd, where we’ll cover the following:
- How men’s and women’s bodies are different (beyond the obvious) and how that affects the way you do yoga
- Pose modifications that work for normal guys, who spend a lot of time at an office and don’t stretch as much as they should
- How to incorporate yoga into your other workouts, for more effective muscular engagement, a more efficient workout, and better overall results
This class is perfect if you:
- are an active guy, but have never done yoga before and are interested in improving your core strength and flexibility
- have been doing yoga for a while, but would like to delve deeper into technique
- work at an office and want to minimize the daily aches and pains that accompany a sedentary lifestyle
- lift weights or cross train, and want to reduce your muscle recovery time and reduce your risk of injury
- are an athlete, and want to be better at what you do
