Announcing The New Essentials Workout Program

Announcing Our Newest Yoga Program: The Essentials

I’m excited to announce the release of my newest yoga workout program “The Essentials.” If you’ve followed along with Man Flow Yoga, you know that I practice many intense strength-focused yoga workouts.

However, that’s not the only way I practice yoga. I also practice a gentler form of yoga that’s more focused on stretching, restoring, and mildly working your muscles to prevent injury. This is exactly what “The Essentials” program is designed to do.

These workouts don’t require a lot of energy or motivation to get through. But they do supply you with the needed movements and stretches to address problem areas, strengthen your body, prevent injuries, and keep your body feeling great. Think of it as low energy workouts meant to be daily maintenance for your body.

What Are Essential Workouts?

Essential workouts are exercises, movements, and stretches that your body needs to stay pain-free and strong so that you can enjoy other more strenuous activities that you love.

There are two types of workouts in “The Essentials”: targeted workouts that work on specific areas such as your wrist, shoulders, and neck; and more whole-body workouts that work on posture, twists, and recovery.

What Order Should I Do The Workouts?

In general, “The Essentials” program is meant to be completed in a cycle from workouts 1-14. These workouts are all about 30-mins long and complement each other into the next day.

They’re structured so that you won’t fatigue yourself from repeatedly targeting the same area each day. Instead, the workouts target different areas of your body each day, so you’ll have ample time to recover and rest for the next cycle.

That being said, if you’re suffering from wrist and elbow pain, you are completely welcome to repeat the Wrist and Elbow Workout. These workouts aren’t so strenuous that you’ll cause more harm than gain by repeating them on a daily basis. Just do what your body needs and can handle.

Can I Pair “The Essentials”  with Other Workouts?

YES! “The Essentials” aren’t super intense workouts that will prevent you from weight training, cycling, or training for any other sport you love. You can continue with your other workout program without affecting your training volume or intensity.

“The Essentials” are meant to help your body recover and feel great without draining you. You can use these workouts as a warm-up, a cool-down, or even a restorative workout later in the day.

Final Thoughts

What I want you to get from this program is that you don’t always need to do strenuous challenging workouts to keep your body healthy. Sometimes it’s okay to take it easy and do a gentler workout and still give yourself the movement and exercise needed to keep your body feeling great.

These gentle 30-minute workouts are meant to do exactly that, so workout and feel accomplished!
